On February 28th, 2026, the streets of Thames were transformed into a living gallery.
38 artists stationed themselves from the historic hills to the waterfront, capturing the unique character of our town en plein air.

A Sincere Thank You
What began as an idea to recreate the magic of a plein air event I participated in as a teenager in France has now become a beautiful reality right here in Thames. This event was a success because of the incredible skill, vision, and hard work of our artists, and the warm engagement of the Thames community.
Watching the “Artists at Work” signs pop up around town and seeing the public follow the trail in real-time was exactly what I hoped for.
Don’t Miss Out Next Year
The 2026 event was just the beginning. We are already looking at ways to streamline the experience for 2027, including improved check-ins and live artist maps at Vessel Gallery to help the public find you while you work.
