Upcycling Art – Turning Trash into Treasure!

Get Ready to Reimagine and Create!
Join us for a creative adventure where kids get to transform everyday rubbish into unique works of art! This Upcycling Art workshop is all about experimenting, problem-solving, and letting imagination run wild. Armed with hot glue guns, drills, nails, and wooden boards, our young artists will take on the challenge of turning discarded materials into masterpieces!

What to Expect:
This workshop isn’t about following instructions—it’s about thinking outside the box! Each child will have a chance to dig through our collection of repurposed materials (generously provided by the Seagull Centre in Thames) and use them to build something extraordinary. With our tools and a creative mindset, they’ll learn how to assemble, attach, and balance different elements on wooden bases to create eye-catching 3D art.

Key elements of this workshop include:

  • Exploring Materials: Kids will sort through various recycled items to find pieces that inspire them.

  • Learning Tool Safety: We'll guide them on safely using hot glue guns, drills, and nails to bring their creations to life.

  • Creative Construction: From balancing acts to bold structures, this workshop encourages experimentation with form and function.

With every project being completely unique, this is an exciting opportunity for kids to explore the endless possibilities of art made from recycled materials.

Why Join Us?

  • Hands-On Fun: Kids learn valuable skills in a practical, hands-on way that sparks their creativity.

  • Eco-Friendly Thinking: Teaches the importance of recycling and finding new uses for old things.

  • Thanks to the Seagull Centre: This workshop is free of charge, thanks to the generous support of the Seagull Centre in Thames!

Perfect For: Kids aged 5-15 who love to build, experiment, and see the world in new ways!

Spaces are limited, so make sure to sign up soon for this unique, eco-friendly art experience!
